A small sailboat sits on its back, where the spout would be, cut from the same tear-resistant material as the whale, and it lifts off if you would rather have the whale on its own. Lit, it glows softly from within, and with a colored or smart bulb the belly takes on whatever shade you choose, so the whale itself becomes the centerpiece.
