The drawings the lamps came from, twelve of them, one for each month of 2027.

Before an animal became a folded paper pendant, it was a sketch. A line looking for a shape, made by hand, with no AI at any step of the drawing. None of these is a finished design. That is what makes them worth hanging: this is the stage before the geometry.

Six sea creatures, drawn twice. Alone from January to June, then again with their young from July on. The whale brings a calf in July, the sea turtle in October, the jellyfish in November.

All six went on to become folded pendants, and not one of them resembles the sketch it grew from. See how far each one traveled: the whale, the koi, the octopus, the sea turtle, the jellyfish, the goldfish.
