The classic koi: bold scarlet blocks on a clean white body, the most striking piece in the collection. The Crimson Koi is the graphic one, where the red is not an accent but the whole statement, laid on by hand in the vermilion of Japanese shrines. Gold cutouts run through the white and warm to a soft glow when lit. It pairs the drama of that red with the restraint of Japanese minimalism: one bold gesture, nothing extra.

What makes it special

Crimson Koi arrives fully assembled and ready to hang, no crafting required. Each one is cut, folded, and painted by hand from washable paper fabric, the red laid on by hand so every piece is a little different. Lit, the gold pinholes glow from within and the white shade holds the light close, so the lamp itself glows rather than washing a room in color. As the boldest koi in the range, it earns a spot where you want a real focal point: a hallway, an entryway, a bedroom, a home office.

  • Handcrafted design: an original, 100% human-designed piece, painted by hand, never AI.
  • Lighting: optional cord available with an E27 (E26) socket, switch, and EU plug, suitable for LED bulbs only (bulb not included).
